Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has continued to break bounds with his music in 2022.
This is coming with his latest deal with Oraimo, a company that specialises in creating amazing bass audio gadgets.
Oraimo’s deal with music superstars was kickstarted with Innocent Idibia, also known as 2face in 2019. The brand went as far as naming some of the air pods after the Nigerian music legend, which made many jettison other brands, just because of the marketing splendour of 2face.
This new partnership with Burna Boy announced via the singer’s social media handles is a move to boost Oraimo’s innovation in HavyBass technology. The HavyBass is a sound-tuning technology for punchy bass, which makes for a sublime experience for lovers of Afrobeats.
The brand announced the deal via a tweet which read, “We are super excited to have you on board as our official brand ambassador, @burnaboy.”
The Grammy award winner has received lots of acclaim for his musical creativity ever since he rode to fame with his Twice as Tall album, which won the Best World Music Album in 2021. In June 2022, he released his sixth studio album, Love Damini. He also received the award of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic for his achievements in music from the country’s president, President Muhammadu Buhari.
On November 10, 2022, Burna Boy made a shocking release of “Alone,” one of the featured songs on the highly anticipated movie produced by Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” His latest award is from the 2022 MTV European Music Awards which took place on Sunday 13th November 2022 where the African giant, as he is fondly called, picked the award for Best African Act.
The songwriter’s “On the Low” has now surpassed 300 million views on YouTube.
